CASE STUDY 2 - OLDMAC MG
Oldmac MG is one of the leaders in Queensland’s MG dealer network. They provide brand new MG vehicles as well as used cars.
Oldmac MG was in a lot of trouble when it came to their online visibility. Within a very short time we were not only able to get them on the first page of Google but also increase the amount of traffic, leads, walk-ins, and sales calls they were receiving.
The Keywords
Similar to the other car dealerships we look after Oldmac MG again was looking to dominate its local market in Brisbane.
2 of the keywords they wanted to use were:
Mg Brisbane – 1000 searches per month
Mg dealership brisbane – 720 searches per month
The Campaign
With the keywords locked in we then started with our SEO audits. First, we looked at what was preventing them from ranking. There were a lot of technical errors such as:
- incorrect use of rel=canonical tag
- duplicate content
- broken links
- missing alt tags
- Incorrect use of structured data and site structure
When we finished cleaning up the technical and on-page errors we then began to ramp up our off-page strategy.
The Results
Oldmac MG is now on the first page for all of their major keywords

Oldmac MG is currently sitting at position 3 on Google for the keyword: MG brisbane
The campaign is still ongoing and the increased organica traffic continues to bring local customers to Oldmac MG for their MG vehicle needs.
